>Description:
cron does not log the end time of cron jobs, only the start time.
Other crons (e.g. Solaris) do log the end time.
Logging of the end time is extremely useful to detect runaways, and
to understand the performance characteristics of unattended jobs.

UTSL indicates that it can be conduced to do so when run with the
correct debugging flags. cron's -x debugging flag is not documented in the
manpage.
>How-To-Repeat:
Wonder how long a nightly cron job was taking.
>Fix:
	"Move to Solaris." [just kidding]
Have cron log when jobs end.
	Turn on process accounting
	etc.
