I propose to add those lines to the MESSAGE given by the bakoma-fonts at installation:

For a system-wide installation, add the line

Map /usr/pkg/share/tex-contrib/BaKoMa/fontmap.map

at the end of the /usr/pkg/share/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg file. Then,

cd /usr/pkg/share/texmf/dvips/config
updmap

and the bakoma fonts will be available by default with dvips
