fork1(9) describes the function as it existed in May 1999.  It has
changed some since then...

   man 9 fork1

and notice that it says 

    fork1(struct proc *p1, int flags, register_t *retval,
          struct proc **rnewprocp);

where the source says

    fork1(struct lwp *l1, int flags, int exitsig,
          void *stack, size_t stacksize,
          void (*func)(void *), void *arg, register_t *retval,
          struct proc **rnewprocp)
