>Description:
pkgsrc freezes are done at various times. This is
done to make sure that the pkgsrc is really in
sync.

It would be helpful for part-time users of pkgsrc
to be able to updated their pkgsrc collection
to the date of end of freeze.

Please publically report when the pkgsrc freeze
is done via public mailing list or by news
webpage. Or actually tag the pkgsrc at end of
freeze.
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
This has been noted on the mailing list a few times.
The real fix would be for those involved with
ending the freeze to remember to announce it.

Please make a note of this in any instructions
or policy followed for doing these periodic
pkgsrc freezes.
