Here is my altq.conf file:

interface vlan2 bandwidth 10M cbq

#The root class has all the bandwdith
class cbq vlan2 root_class NULL pbandwidth 100

#The default class
class cbq vlan2 def_class root_class borrow pbandwidth 50 default

#The client class, slows down the client - first, they only get 50% of
available bandwidth
class cbq vlan2 client_class root_class pbandwidth 50
#Our first client - 169.229.97.234, only gets 1% of bandwidth to all ports
class cbq vlan2 169-229-97-234_class client_class pbandwidth 1
        #Catch all connections from this client #dst
#dport  #src            #sport  #proto
        filter vlan2 169-229-97-234_class               0               0
169.229.97.234  0       0
        #Catch all connections TO this client
        filter vlan2 169-229-97-234_class               169.229.97.234  0
0               0       0

If I do:
ifconfig vlan2 create
(when it doesn't exist)
but nothing else, and then run "/etc/rc.d/altqd start", I get a kernel
crash.  Here's the output:

If I add the following before starting altqd:
ifconfig vlan2 vlan 2 vlanif fxp1

then the kernel does NOT crash. So I've concluded the problem is starting
altqd on a vlan w/o a parent vlan...

Ask for more details, if you need them... I'm running netbsd-current from
2 weeks ago.
