>Environment:
System: NetBSD pomme.styx.org 1.6Q NetBSD 1.6Q (GENERIC) #1: Sun Mar 30 01:50:51 JST 2003 tsubai@lumiere:/a/0329/src/sys/arch/macppc/compile/GENERIC macppc
Architecture: powerpc
Machine: macppc
>Description:
Though a GENERIC kernel from the current CVS will build, it
will not boot on a PowerBook G4, experiencing bad memory
access very early in the bootprocess -- while the spinning
wheel is spinning and the offsets of various segments are
	printed.
>How-To-Repeat:
Boot a -current kernel (or 1.6, or a kernel from a variety
	of recent snapshots)
>Fix:
There is a kernel binary from tsubai@iri.co.jp (1.6Q) that works,
but apparently no source code is yet available.
