>Organization:
>Environment:
System: NetBSD knox 1.6I NetBSD 1.6I (KNOX-$Revision: 1.20 $) #0: Sun Oct 13 19:57:00 MDT 2002 jim@roc:/wd1/var/tmp/compile/sys/arch/sparc/compile/KNOX sparc
Architecture: sparc
Machine: sparc
>Description:
	Here's what happens when I try to boot (-s) a recent -current kernel.
	This record is from a GENERIC kernel, but aside from the numbers,
	the same thing happens with a kernel built from my usual
	machine-specific configuration.

	  SPARCstation 20 MP (2 X 390Z50), Keyboard Present
	  ROM Rev. 2.15, 32 MB memory installed, ....
	  Ethernet address ....

	  Rebooting with command: netbsd -s
	  Boot device: /iommu/sbus/espdma@f,400000/esp/sd@0,0 File and args: netbsd -s
	  >> NetBSD/sparc Secondary Boot, Revision 1.9
	  >> (jim@roo, Wed Jan 19 08:04:42 MST 2000)
	  Booting netbsd
	  5159412+96432+226548 [106+211952+153128]=0x5a3c34
	  OBP version 3, revision 2.15 (plugin rev 2)
	  {screen flickers briefly}
	  {delay ~ 1--2 min}
	  Watchdog Reset
	  Type   help   for more information
	  <#0> ok

	This happened also with kernels built from March 3 and March 16
	sources.

>How-To-Repeat:
	boot -s
>Fix:
	Unknown. I tried -current (March 22) boot code (and a couple of
	other versions as well), but that didn't help. Curiously, my old
	kernel (Oct. 13) also hangs at the same point (after the "OBP" line)
	when loaded by -current boot code.
