>Description:
First, INAL, but for me the source redistribution seems unclear and
adding the private FreeBSD (spread-port) maintainer download site
doesn't help in this case (and produces uneeded traffic on their side..).
The FreeBSD project has written permission to redistribute the Spread sources.

From their CVS log:
"""
revision 1.11
date: 2002/12/11 05:49:10; author: edwin; state: Exp; lines: +1 -10
Remove the IGNORE part of the Makefile. It was original in there
because the website said that it you had to register before you
could download it. Joshua Goodall chased it up and got an okay for
putting it on his own website for the FreeBSD project. See ports/45178
for more information.

PR: ports/45178
Submitted by: maintainer.
"""
I tried to get that permission from the Spread authors in January,
but had no luck yet. If I get that permission, I'll put up the
sources for the NetBSD project.

Second, the patch from the "Fix" section brings the pkg closer
to my PR/19782. But, makes no major changes to it.
(Only the IMHO urgent/missing stuff.)
