That's 250 queries per minute.  Pretty impressive.

But you don't run caching local nameservers, do you?

I have never seen a big, production Hesiod environment.  But it has struck
me that a lot of the features in bind 8 and bind 9 make Hesiod more
attractive than it used to be, and that running a caching name server on
every client would be a real necessity.
