>Description:
At some level of SVG drawing complexity, version 0.25 of Sodipodi crashes: sometimes on save, always on open. Did not do that before on prior version of Sodipodi which I liked rather well.

Older complex SVG's saved in prior version may be re-opened...but not similarly complex ones created with version 0.25.

The web site for Sodipodi reports ver. 0.25 as "very buggy" and now has
version 0.28 available.

I had used the prior version to make this map (exported to png)...

http://starling.us/royal_star/bike_map_a.png

...which is way more complex than anything I can make now using sodipodi 0.25.

>How-To-Repeat:
Try to open this SVG...

http://starling.us/mgetty_answering_solo.svg

...I always get "Segmentation fault" but no core file.

(I have several saves (interim backups) of that SVG from while I was working on it. Not a one of them will open. It is the second time I had started over.)

Example of crash:

gus: {2} sodipodi mgetty_answering_solo.svg

** WARNING **: Emergency save activated

** WARNING **: Emergency save completed, now crashing...

** CRITICAL **: file sp-object.c: line 505 (sp_object_modified): assertion `obje
ct != NULL' failed.

>Fix:
Hopefully, just upgrade the pkgsrc to sodipodi ver 0.28?
