>Description:
(See: http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2002/12/07/0005.html)

Basically, I tried to build gnome; it failed at some point (I don't
remember exactly why; some conflict with something I'd already
installed.) I deleted the packages, I thought, but then happened
to notice a /share directory had sprouted on my root filesystem.

Investigating showed these files (well, dirs):

drwxr-xr-x   4 root  wheel  512 Dec  5 20:28 /share/control-center
drwxr-xr-x   3 root  wheel  512 Dec  5 20:28 /share/control-center-2.0
drwxr-xr-x   3 root  wheel  512 Dec  5 20:28 /share/gnome
drwxr-xr-x  24 root  wheel  512 Dec  5 20:28 /share/locale
drwxr-xr-x   2 root  wheel  512 Dec  5 20:28 /share/xscreensaver

I asked on tech-pkg if others could confirm this;
Lubomir Sedlacik <salo@Xtrmntr.org> apparently was seeing this,
too; he asked me to send-pr it (so here it is).

>How-To-Repeat:
Try to build some of the packages indicated above. (Of course, the
fact that the installation of gnome didn't complete may be significant.)

Check / for a new, bogus /share and subdirectories thereof.
