>Description:

i'm looking for a simple circuit simulator thing, where i can
play with "large" components (ie, relays and resistors and capacitors
and transformers and bulbs and switches, not transistors and "quad
three input nand ic chips, etc), so i'm trawling through pkgsrc/cad.
most of them look like something that isn't what i want, but
oregano might be. so i tried to install it. it took a long time to
build, so i looked at what it was up to, and it seemed to be building
xscreensaver-gnome. i killed it. i knew that was bound to fail. i
don't have much gnome stuff installed because it's so large and
unwieldly and a pain to upgrade since you have to delete ~everything
in order to fix one of the underlying components. oregano got there
by depending on gnome-core which depends on xscreensaver-gnome.

>How-To-Repeat:

	install xscreensaver
	try to install oregano

>Fix:

maybe a yes/no variable that i can use to indicate if i'm
actually building gnome or just a piece of so that gnome-core doesn't
depend on xscreensaver-gnome?
