NetBSD snark 1.6 NetBSD 1.6 (GENERIC) #0: Mon Sep 9 08:27:06 UTC 2002 autobuild@tgm.daemon.org:/autobuild/sparc/OBJ/autobuild/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/GENERIC sparc
>Description:
Installed from ISO, everything appeared to be fine. Rebooted, no kernel found on sd0. So, booted the install cd, went into /bin/sh, mounted sd0a /mnt and saw this at root (ls -al output): netbsd->kern-GENERIC. The only problem was, there was no kern-GENERIC. The work around, mount the cdrom, copy the compressed kernel onto the drive and reboot.
