System: NetBSD 1.6I NetBSD 1.6I (NIGHTFALL) #6: Fri Sep 27 01:48:56 CEST 2002
Architecture: sparc
Machine: sparc

I have multiple orinoco silver cards, all with the same firmware. This
machine creates the IBSS, the other machines still use the older version
of the wi driver (or the latest windows driver):

nell0 at sbus0 slot 0 offset 0x0 level 4 (ipl 7) level 7 (ipl 13): rev 1
pcmcia0 at nell0 socket 0
pcmcia1 at nell0 socket 1
wi0 at pcmcia1 function 0: Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE, Version 01.01
wi0: 802.11 address 00:02:2d:21:10:7b
wi0: using Lucent Technologies, WaveLAN/IEEE
wi0: Lucent Firmware: Station (8.10.1)
wi0: supported rates: 1Mbps, 2Mbps, 5.5Mbps, 11Mbps

This card is configured via /etc/ifconfig.wi0:

192.168.XXX.XXX down
! /usr/sbin/wiconfig wi0 -p 1 -c 1 -n "YYYYY" -q "YYYYY" -s "Nightfall"
! /usr/sbin/arp -s 192.168.XXX.XXX 00:02:2d:21:10:88
! /usr/sbin/arp -s 192.168.XXX.XXX 00:02:2d:21:0f:64

Since the jumbo patch (rev. 1.84 of wi.c) has been commited, this machine does
not communicate with any of the others any more.

back out wi.c rev. 1.84 until it has been tested on non-prism2 cards in non
host-ap configurations?
