>Release: NetBSD 1.6E, 20020726
>Organization:
>Environment:
System: NetBSD mofo 1.6E NetBSD 1.6E (GENERIC) #0: Sat Jul 27 02:36:36 EST 2002 grant@mofo:/raid/netbsd/current/20020726/i386/obj/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
The disklabel editor does not check that root partition is defined,
and the install bombs while attempting to install the bootblock.
>How-To-Repeat:
attempt to install without specifying a root partition (or, on some
archs, an invalid root partition).
>Fix:
The presence of a root (and possibly swap) partition should be checked.
On some archs, the root partition must be 'a'.

The user should be given a chance to re-edit the label.
