>Release: NetBSD 1.6B
System: NetBSD darkstar.local 1.6B NetBSD 1.6B (DARKSTAR) #27: Wed Jun 26 12:49:30 CEST 2002 jmmv@darkstar.local:/var/build/kernel/DARKSTAR i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
The following patch adds mouse support for the NetBSD's console.
Currently it works with the wscons device, and only in platforms
which use the vga display device (i386, any more?). Porting to
other platforms is as easy as porting two functions of the kernel
patch, and they are quite short!

You can find the package here (around 10kb):
(if it is down, please retry a few hours later!)

This package contains the kernel patch, the wsmoused daemon (where
practically everything is done) and the rc.d startup script.
The README file included in it contains detailed instructions on
how to get everything working properly.

I've added this PR as medium priority for two reasons: first one is
that I've seen several people requesting this feature and the second
is that the kernel patch may become invalid if some files of the files
	it touches (several) change...

I've tried to follow advice of many people in tech-kern when writting
the kernel patch. It is practically a complete rewrite of some of it
I posted around March and I hope it will make everybody happy now.

The daemon in not feature-complete (it lacks some *minor* details) but
I think that they can be added once the whole code is imported. This
way, we can have more people to try what it is done by now and then
finish these minor details and any bug that may appear.

Hope you like it and thanks for your time!
