I just installed 1.5.3_RC2 on a different machine, similar
config, and haven't seen this problem.  So perhaps I was=20
nodding off at the time.  Not sure why I always hack unix=20
really late at night.  Though, I've still linked /tmp into=20
/usr/tmp, where I think it lives best.  If /usr is unmountable=20
on this single drive (ex. if corruption occurs), I'm not=20
sure I'd need /tmp since I'd be in a world of hurt anyway.
A /tmp of 200megs is no /tmp at all.

So unless someone else complains about an odd behavior
like this, I'll blame this bug on myself.
