>Description:
      Enabling COMPAT_LINUX in the kernel configuration file results in a
      failed build of the kernel, due to missing symbols (Namely: 
      linux_sys_stat64, linux_sys_lstat64, linux_sys_fstat64, 
      linux_sys_gedents64 and linux_sys_fcntl64, defined in
      compat/linux/common/linux_fil64.c to my best knowledge). A quick-fix
      attempt by adding compat/linux/common/linux_file64.c to
      compat/linux/arch/powerpc/files.linux_powerpc failed due to other
      compile errors (Nonexisting members in structs, illegal definitions, 
      etc.)

      architecture, and try to compile the kernel
