	Under certain conditions (launching
	ImageMagick in the root window, as far as I know), the X server
        "scrambles" the output of
	the consoles (i.e. Ctrl-Alt-F[1-4] gives nothing but a bunch of
	coloured squares). Swithing back to the server then, flickering
	horizontal white lines can be seen.

	Launch X, then :
	% display -window root foo.jpg
