System: NetBSD polaris 1.5ZA NetBSD 1.5ZA (POLARIS) #0: Mon Dec 24 18:00:26 MST 2001 root@polaris:/usr/src/cvs/syssrc/sys/arch/i386/compile/POLARIS i386

>Description:
There is a lack of binary backwards compatibility of some form in the 1.5ZA
kernel. A mozilla binary which works perfectly fine under 1.5.1, no longer
functions when only the kernel is upgraded to 1.5ZA. (connection refused
when attempting to contact any site)

Yes, I know there is a mozilla patch for this, and the new mozilla supposedly
fixes it, but only when built under -current. The problem I am describing here
is that something that worked under 1.5.1, no longer works in -current.

>How-To-Repeat:
install 1.5.1 and mozilla. upgrade kernel, attempt to use mozilla.
