	insert

		memset(&apm_pi, 0, sizeof(apm_pi));

	in patch-aa at the appropriate place (before
	ioctl(APM_IOC_GETPOWER)).

	I doesn't have kde installed and doesn't have the diskspace to
	build/install it.
