>Environment:
System: NetBSD knightrider.home.vnet 1.5Y NetBSD 1.5Y (KITT) #1: Tue Nov 6 22:07:18 EET 2001 root@knightrider.home.vnet:/usr/src/sys/arch/alpha/compile/KITT alpha
Architecture: alpha
Machine: alpha

Relevant exports line:
	/export/pond/root/ -mapall=root:wheel -network=10/8

>Description:
When my system has run for a while, it suddenly loses the mapped
privileges as specified in the exports file (either using -maproot
or -mapall) producing a "Permission denied" or "Input/Output Error"
on the client machine. This is very unfortunate since the box is
	running nfsroot.
>How-To-Repeat:
Set up nfsroot and let it run for a while (atleast on port-alpha)
>Fix:
	None
Short term is to reboot the client and mount the share locally
on the server box, this sometimes returns the privileges.
