NetBSD nonews2.panix.com 1.5.1 NetBSD 1.5.1 (PANIX-STD) #0: Fri Jul 20 21:16:25 EDT 2001 devnull@panix.com:/devel/netbsd/1.5.1/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/PANIX-STD i386
>Description:
When the "options" field is left out of /etc/fstab, several
utilities dump core. I noticed mount, swapon, and fsck doing this,
but others may do it as well.
>How-To-Repeat:
Create the following fstab:
/dev/wd0a / ffs 1 1
and boot.
>Fix:
Put real error checking in the affected utilities.
