Both macppc 1.5 and arm26 -current.

If it gets a very long string of tildes on stdin (either from the keyboard
or a pipe) /bin/sh segfaults.

viking:~$ perl -e 'print "~" x 3000' | sh
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

It may be necessary to increase 3000.
