Try building gle-3.0.3.  There might only be problems if Mesa and friends have been installed using xpkgwedge.

>Fix:
Quick hack was to add:

  -I/usr/pkg/include

to the INCLUDES= lines in src/Makefile and examples/Makefile, but there's surely a better fix -- e.g. modifying Makefile.am/Makefile.in appropriately.
