'umount' fails even just after 'mount'ing a partition.
I tested this manually where I exited install menu and
'mount /dev/wd0a /mnt' and 'umount /mnt'. I could also see
this when I did auto install using menu, which also failed
the final stage just before rebooting (that is, 'umounting').

My machine is old ThinkPad 560 with 40M RAM.
