System: NetBSD polaris 1.5_ALPHA2 NetBSD 1.5_ALPHA2 (POLARIS) #1: Wed Dec 13 00:45:28 MST 2000 root@polaris:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/POLARIS i386

>Description:
The internal services of inetd such as echo and chargen are not documented
anywhere. All other services found in inetd.conf can be looked up via
various manpages to discover what they are.

>How-To-Repeat:
man inetd.conf

>Fix:
Internal services like echo/chargen/tcpmux/etc should all be documented
inside inetd's manpage. The documentation should consist of a short
description of what the service does, and perhaps a reference to the RFC
that defines it, for further reading. This way users who do not know what
some of those internal services do, will not be left in the dark about them.
