NetBSD kabel065013.kabel.utwente.nl 1.5R NetBSD 1.5R (config.paalhuis) #0: Tue Feb 13 15:03:48 CET 2001 root@kabel065013.kabel.utwente.nl:/usr/sources/syssrc/sys/arch/i386/compile/config.paalhuis i386

>Description:
When listing a big directory mounted over NFS, say the kernel build direcotory
or when using tcsh with tab to get a list, the kernel allways locks up on `netio'

``ps auxl'' giving :
root 292 0.0 0.1 292 4 p0- D 9:06PM 0:00.03 ls -al 0 292 1 0 2 0 292 4 netio D p0- 0:00.03 ls -al

No network trafic is shown with tcpdump anymore. The fileserver is a NetBSD/sparc-1.5 and it doesnt matter if
the nfs mount is mounted with or without -s ...

>How-To-Repeat:
mount -t nfs machine:/usr/src /usr/src
ls -al /usr/src/sys/arch/arm32/compile/config.rangerover

it hangs :(
