The wiconfig manual page's description of the -M ("microwave
oven robustness") option is deficient.
Notice the commits surrounding the option, read the manual page
to find out what the peculiarly-named option does, and why
you'd want to use it.  Note that there's no real answer.

Notice the subsequent chatter on the source-changes mailing list
about it.

Send mail to the option's creator requesting slightly better
documentation in the manual page.  Get a reply that says, among
other things:
