I added a D-Link DE530 card to my U5 (just for testing) and got this:

vr0 at pci1 dev 2 function 0: VIA VT3043 (Rhine) 10/100 Ethernet
vr0: interrupting at vector 20
vr0: reset never completed!
vr0: Ethernet address: ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

Obviously there is something broken here (and I didn't look at the vr driver
yet). When ifconfig'in the card, the system paniced:

add net 127.0.0.0: gateway 127.0.0.1
Configuring network interfaces: vr0vr0: reset never completed!
panic: _bus_dmamap_load: not implemented
kdb breakpoint at 1142f6c
Stopped in pid 50 (ifconfig) at cpu_Debugger+0x4:       nop
