I would like to submit a package to the pkgsrc collection.
You will find it at

ASCII character table program

This is a handy little utility (by Eric S. Raymond) that recognizes
many different ways of naming an ASCII character (hex, octal, binary,
decimal, C escape, ISO character table pair, slang names, and others)
and prints out all the equivalents. A CGI script that can be used to
enable access over the Web is included.
