>Description:
While /bin/ksh (aka. pdksh) has been upgraded to 5.2.14 for NetBSD 1.5,
there's a patch out on the pdksh ftp site, eliminating 3 bugs, of which
at least one is (imho) quite annoying. The patchfile states:
Here are patches for 3 significant bugs in pdksh-5.2.14:
- set -x dumps core (shf.c);
- output of "jobs" command is filled with ^A characters (jobs.c);
- "typeset -r foo=bar" fails saying foo is readonly (var.c).
It would be nice if this patch were integrated before 1.5 was released.
The patch is available at the following URL:
ftp://ftp.cs.mun.ca/pub/pdksh/pdksh-5.2.14-patches.1
>How-To-Repeat:
