System: NetBSD tori 1.5_ALPHA NetBSD 1.5_ALPHA (GENERIC) #2: Sun Aug 6 14:36:10 MEST 2000 fvdl@frank:/usr/src15/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386

>Description:
i wrote a little script in awk which helps to get an overview of your ppp connection. it uses /var/log/messages to get the ppp output and shows you how much traffic you had and how long you were online.
maybe it could be placed in /etc/ppp...
i don't have a 1.4 installation now, so i don't know if the script works with it, because as far as i remember, the old pppd didn't produce any output about connection time and bytes sent/recieved.
