System: NetBSD cowboy-burt 1.4.1 NetBSD 1.4.1 (COWBOY-BURT) #1: Sat Oct 2 21:08:08 EDT 1999 dan@cowboy-burt:/amd/dinah-moe/export/src/sys/arch/sparc/compile/COWBOY-BURT sparc

>Description:

I have 1.4.2 on a dell inspirion 7500. I see a strange failure. If I'm
running Windows NT, and then tell the machine to reboot, through the
windows start menu, I get the following panic duirng boot:

sb0 at isa0 port 0x220-0x237 irq 5 drq1 panic: intr_establish: irq5 can't
share level-triggered with edge-triggered
Stopped in at _Debugger+0x4: leave

looking back, I see
uhci0 at pci0 dev 7 function 2: Intel 82371AB USB Host Controller (PIIX4)
(rev. 0x01)
uhci0: interrupting at irq5

a 't' gives:

_debugger
_panic
_isa_intr_establish
_sb_isa_attach
[snip]

.......

This only happens when there was a soft reset of the machine, ie, reboot
from the NT menu. If I do a cold reset of the machine, ie power down and
then boot, everything is fine. Also I don't even see a 'sb0' but rather

ESS Technology Inc product 0x1978 (audio multimedia, revision 0x10) at
pci0 dev 8 function 0 not configured

for the audio.

This is quite repeatable.

the normal boot messages for this machine are:
