Hubert Feyrer <>
System: NetBSD smaug 1.4.2A NetBSD 1.4.2A (SMAUG) #10: Thu Mar 30 15:05:16 MEST 2000 feyrer@smaug:/disk1/cvs/src-1.4/sys/arch/sparc/compile/SMAUG sparc

it seems the alpha, arc, arm26, arm32, bebox, i386, macppc, next68k
and prep MAKEDEV scripts (src/etc/etc.*/MAKEDEV) do not generate
a wsmux device, even though they have a "target" for it:

        	rm -f wsmouse wskbd
        	mknod wsmouse c 65 0
        	mknod wskbd c 65 1
        	chown root.wheel wsmouse wskbd
        	chmod 600 wsmouse wskbd

This just creates wsmouse and wskbd over and over again (for each
call of wsmouse0-3, wskbd0-3 and wsmux), which doesn't make much
	sense either.

	cp /usr/cvs/src-current/etc/etc.i386/MAKEDEV /dev
	cd /dev
	sh MAKEDEV all
	ls -la wsmux*

Copy the wsmouse, wskbd and wsmux rules from
	src/etc/etc.hpcmips/MAKEDEV, that one looks ok.
