>Description:
when going thru the i)nstall script, when I reach the point where it
asks for "DNS domain name", there seems to be no way to NOT enter one!
I tried pressing return, and it still waits for input. I tried "none",
and got "machine machine.none" in /etc/hosts. I tried "." and got
"machine..". I think I tried "done" with the result "machine.done".

The default should be listed, and a way to enter that default but pressing
return should be there.

The query later on "Enter IP address of default router [none]" works
correctly. Perhaps the "DNS domain name" request could work the same,
and include a default. Not sure what that default should be.

Having a "machine machine." in /etc/hosts was ok, but I think just having
"machine" in /etc/hosts (where there is no domain) will make newaliases
complain about a not fully qualified machine name.

Perhaps the default should be ., and to enter "machine machine." in
/etc/hosts as opposed to "machine machine.." as happens now.

I think there was a problem when I restarted the i)install, and wrong
cached values showed up as defaults, and I wanted to change them to
blank... no way to do that.

The i386 install works as I would expect it.
