:>Description:
:	I've run across a couple of files that, when retrieved by ftp
:	have absurd timestamps. See below for a particular example.
:>How-To-Repeat:
:	ftp ftp.gbnet.net
:	cd pub/mutt-international
:	get mutt-1.0.1.tar.gz.asc
:	bye
:	ls -l mutt-1.0.1.tar.gz.asc
: yields:
: -rw-r--r-- 1 ... ... - 460 Dec 14 1909 mutt-1.0.1.tar.gz.asc

% ftp -a ftp://ftp.gbnet.net/pub/mutt-international/
230-
230- Please email ftpadmin@gbnet.net if you have problems with this site.
230-
[...stuff deleted...]
% quot mdtm mutt-1.0.1.tar.gz.asc
213 191000118225500

Good year. So what did this become? 1910/00/11 82:25:50 (spare 0)

:	Don't know. It's possible the problem lies at the other end, but
:	it's probably worthwhile to see if our ftp client is at fault or
:	can work around a bug at the other end.

Regards,
