>Environment:
sparc and i386
>Description:
The "scsictl scan any any" command does not report any information
on my sparc and i386 installation. 'Der Mouse" pointed out that it
only reports info on newly attached or powered up devices, and that
the output only goes to the console. These two facts need to be
mentioned in the manpage.

QUESTION: do atactl and others have the same problem?

>How-To-Repeat:
I'm putting this is high priority since this is a 1 minute fix which
will stop a possible large number of questions on the newsgroup

IS THERE A WAY TO add functionality to SCSICTL so that it will printout
info on all devices (something like "scsictl -a scan any any")?

>Fix:
ADD TO MAN PAGE:

scsictl ONLY reports information on newly attached or powered up
devices (since boot-time). The information is displayed on the
console, regardless of where the command was issued.
