>Description:
The released version of xntpd dumps core when NTP isn't compiled into
the kernel (as in the GENERIC on released). I've recompiled xntpd from
sources and the problem persists. The application is supposed to
gracefully detect that ntp support is not present in the kernel
and do a software workaround.
>How-To-Repeat:
Use the released versions of xntpd with 1.4 and 1.4.1 port-vax.
