>Release: current since 9th July (mod. date of malloc.c)
>Environment:
System: NetBSD WintelKiller 1.4G NetBSD 1.4G (WintelKiller) #145: Tue Jul 20 16:49:09 MEST 1999 thilo@Seti.HEH.Uni-Oldenburg.DE:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/WintelKiller i386
>Description:
The new FreeBSD malloc imported recently makes use of a configuration file
"/etc/malloc.conf" but there's no manpage about it. malloc(3) doesn't even
mention it in the FILES section.
BTW: As I was browsing the database summary to see if this problem has
already pr'ed I noticed PR lib/3027 (malloc(3) fragments memory unnecessarily).
Maybe this can be closed now.
>How-To-Repeat:
ktrace something and wonder about that strange NAMI "/etc/malloc.conf",
RTS of malloc.c and wonder even more
>Fix:
Import the manpage(s) from FreeBSD(?)
