>Description:
	Compiling a clean GENERIC kernel under the NetBSD/vax 1.4 distribution
	yields a kernel fails to clear zombie processes.  Mostly I noticed
	portmap and cron daemon processes lingering around.  After a while
	the process table fills up and then you're just stuck.
>How-To-Repeat:
	Get a copy of the pristine 1.4 sources.  Use the config util on the
	provided GENERIC kernel configuration file.  Compile and then boot
	the GENERIC kernel.
>Fix:
	A workaround is to add the kernel debugger options to the GENERIC
	kernel configuration file.  Adding "options DDB" causes the 
	problem to go away.
