>Release: NetBSD 1.4_ALPHA - NetBSD 1.4 release <NetBSD-current source date>
>Environment:

System: NetBSD ismaelda 1.3.2 NetBSD 1.3.2 (RISCPC) #0: Sun May 24 19:26:32 BST 1998 root@ebsa:/home/cyclone/netbsd-1.3.2/src/sys/arch/arm32/compile/RISCPC arm32
Hardware: RiscPC600, ARM710a (CPUID = 41047100), 16Mb+2Mb DRAM + 2Mb VRAM, Atomwide Etherlan 3, Lingn. SCSI
Target: Any kernel after 1.3.3 version (homemade) crashes; i.e. version >= 1.4_ALPHA +

>Description:
Computer crashes completely when changing the virtual memory translation table base in the second bootstrap. The problem is known not to occure on the same machine when the processor is swapped with a StrongARM. Memory-configurations don't seem to affect it, maybe VRAM (not tested yet).

Level-1 pages seem symtactically OK; semantics not checked yet.

>How-To-Repeat:
*Every* time you start the kernel; no escape posible!

>Fix:
Not known; can't get it working.
