>Environment:
NetBSD jonny2.klicman.de 1.4A NetBSD 1.4A (JONNY2) #0: Wed May  5 21:46:40 MEST 1999     bad@jonny2.klicman.de:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/JONNY2 i386

>Description:
	Yesterday I started a build of a system that I hadn't updated
	in a very long time. For some reason gen-params failed silently,
	produced a corrupted _G_config.h, and returned with exit status 0;
	causing the corrupted file to be installed. Subsequently the
	build of libstdc++ failed.

>How-To-Repeat:
	Dunno.

>Fix:
	Make gen-param more robust.
