>Release:        NetBSD1.4_BETA, 04/26/1999
System: NetBSD corwin.home 1.4_BETA NetBSD 1.4_BETA (CORWIN) #31:
Sun Apr 25 12:49:08 CDT 1999 fredb@corwin.home:
/usr/src/sys/arch/mac68k/compile/CORWIN mac68k

	`ftp -a' fails to bypass .netrc, as advertised. e.g.:

	fredb-> ftp -a ftp
	Connected to
	220 FTP server (Version
	wu-2.4.2-academ[BETA-18-VR13](1) Sun Feb 14 22:47:12 CST 1999)
	331 Password required for fb.
	230 User fb logged in.

	This makes it awkward and difficult to verify that files are
	posted with the correct permissions and path for anonymous

	Try `ftp -a' for any site for which you have an entry in .netrc.
