>Description:
When the sun 2.1 gb drive is attached to the external connector on the fireport and the machine is booted the following occurs:

ncr0:0: ERROR(90:0) (0-21-23) (0/5) @ (script a:043000060).
ncr0: script cmd = 878b0000
ncr0: regdump da 00 00 05 47 00 01 0f 31 00 85 21 80 00 00 02
ncr0: restart (fatal error)
probe(ncr0:1:3): command failed (9ff) @ 0xf052c00
aborting job.

>How-To-Repeat:
Installl a fireport 40 w/current kernel, and external sun 2.1gb wide connector but really scsi-2 drive and boot

>Fix:
unknown: I am currently attempting a recompile of the kernel w/the ncr driver set to 8 bit only..but I don't want that as a final solution.
