Jason R Thorpe <thorpej@nas.nasa.gov> typed:
:>Description:
:	There is no GNOME package. GNOME is the GNU Network Object Model
:	Environment, a desktop (similar to KDE). It has been adopted as
:	the official desktop for Red Hat and Debian Linux, and has some
:	cool'ish applications available.
:>Fix:
:	Create a "gnome" package with similar structure to the "kde" package.
:	(not supplied)

Or wait a bit 'til it stabilises some more, e.g. next version. It needs
quite a few patches to run. I found 0.25 more effort to build than 0.20
