On 20-Aug-98 Geoff Wing spoke unto us all:
# Jason R Thorpe <thorpej@nas.nasa.gov> typed:
# :>Fix:
# : Create a "gnome" package with similar structure to the "kde" package.
# : (not supplied)
#
# Or wait a bit 'til it stabilises some more, e.g. next version. It needs
# quite a few patches to run. I found 0.25 more effort to build than 0.20

I tend to agree here.. I looked into creating a pkg not too long ago.. and it
seemed to me that GNOME was a mess. Total alpha-quality.

Enlightenment struck me like that too last time I looked.. but that may have
changed..

Maybe I'll revist them if time allows.. though in the meantime.. if someone
else wants a crack at it.. by all means.. do so.. I have about 10 projects on
my list ahead of that.. (hell, I just caught up to my afterstep promise I made
like 3 months ago)
