>Release: June 28, 1998 snapshot
>Environment:
Sparc ELC, NetBSD-current/sparc June 28, 1998 snapshot,
GENERIC kernel from snapshot, diskless boot
System: Sparc ELC, NetBSD/sparc
Architecture: sun4
>Description:
The kernel during (diskless boot) detected a floppy and printed the line
fdc at ..., 1.44M floppy but Sparc ELC does not have a floppy drive nor
floppy controller. After "detecting" the floppy there were 2 lines
/netbsd: fdcresult: overrun
and one line
CFGLOCK: unexpected responce
The system seems to work fine after printing those messages. I did not try
to access the floppy.
>How-To-Repeat:
boot GENERIC kernel on floppy-less machine like Sparc ELC
