System: NetBSD polaris 1.3 NetBSD 1.3 (POLARIS) #0: Thu Mar 26 13:17:18 MST 1998 root@polaris:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/POLARIS i386
(Doesnt matter, -current doesn't have them either)

>Description:
We are missing a variety of info files from the distribution. These files
are referred to in the man pages, leaving the user wondering "where are they?"

>How-To-Repeat:
Try to figure out how cpp works, type man cpp. You get usage and argument
instructions, then the document points you to cpp.info.
find / -name cpp.info

nada.

>Fix:
>From an initial search, we are missing the following info pages, that are
directly referenced in our manuals:
gdb,cpp,as,gcc,ld.
