System: NetBSD bigbird.boulder-creek.ca.us 1.3 NetBSD 1.3 (BIGBIRD) #3: Thu May 21 14:40:08 PDT 1998 robert@bigbird.boulder-creek.ca.us:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/BIGBIRD i386

>Description:
Under the generic kernel distributed with NetBSD 1.3, the ftp progress meter
worked fine. Since I built my own kernel using pcvt instead of pccons, the
progress meter has disappeared.

>How-To-Repeat:
On a machine running a pcvt kernel (NetBSD 1.3/i386), initiate the receive of
a large file. Notice that you don't see the progress meter line even though
you should.

>Fix:
Don't know yet. If I figure it out, I'll try to add it.
